Gallery Sideshow Feature Imminent

(Photoconia - September 1, 2009) Printroom will shortly release a new slideshow feature that will allow your customers to view gallery images in a slideshow. 



Your customer will be able to set the speed of the scrolling images from slow, to medium, to fast--with "medium" being the default speed.  Customers can pause the show or add an image to their shopping cart.




This new feature will be optional. It will require you as the site owner to enable it.  Printroom will give you the ability to offer a slideshow to all your galleries within "Global Defaults/View & Print Options;" or on the group level; or even on a gallery-by-gallery basis (using the "edit" link). The feature is being developed with membership fees so it will only be available to Pro and Premium members.  Look for slideshows by the 9th or 10th of September.

Update (September 10, 2009): The slideshow option has now been added to your Printroom account. You can enable it by clicking "edit" on the "Global Default," "Group," or "gallery" level, then click on the "View & Print Options" tab. (Be sure to save your settings by clicking on the "Submit" button at the bottom of the page.



Note: If you are in Global Defaults/View & Print Options and you check the square box next to "Slideshow" just prior to clicking the "Submit" button, it will allow all future and all existing galleries to have the slideshow--otherwise only future galleries will have slideshows.)
