$100 Minimum for Profit Checks |
|
(Photoconia October 13, 2009) Effective with the mid-November check run, Printroom will only send profit payments to members with $100 or more of accumulated profits. Those members with less than $100 in profit will be paid on the next scheduled profit check disbursement when the accumulated profit does reach $100 or more. These changes are very much in keeping with industry standard practices. (Some of Printroom's competitors have a $500 minimum!)
The $100 minimum is a minor nuisance to those photographers not generating significant revenue from their Printroom account, but it will be a boon to those many photographers who rely on their Printroom store revenue as an important source of income. The reduced work load on Printroom Accounting will allow them to more rapidly process each month's profit disbursements. Photographers getting $100 or more of profit will notice their checks coming sooner than in recent months.
Printroom changed their Terms of Service at the beginning of October to reflect this change. They also posted a notice in the "Sales Report" page, together with a link to their Terms of Service page.
