Overlay images allow you to upload your own custom design to a generic-- or base-- template.  When you use overlay images, you no longer have to rely on Printroom to upload designs for specific event templates.  You can do it yourself.

The purpose of this tutorial is not to explain how to create the base art or the file for the overlay image, but rather to explain what steps you must take to upload and apply the overlay image once your Printroom account has been set up for overlay images.

Here are step-by-step instructions on how to upload an overlay image to a base template.  By this time, you have arranged with Printroom to add the base template to your Premium account.  Custom templates and overlay images are only offered to Premium members.

  



Step 2: Click "edit" next to the name of your gallery or group





Step 3: Click the "Overlay Images" tab

Step 4-1 Using the “browse” button, find the (overlay image) file you wish to upload

Step 4-2 Click “upload” to bring the file into your Printroom account

Step 5-1 If you wish this image overlay to be applied to any existing galleries (or groups) within this group, check box as  indicated.
Step 5-2 Check box next to overlay image name 
Step 5-3 Click “Submit Changes.”
